Some news organizations have decided to cut back or modify their coverage of Sen Kennedy's Presidential campaign because of high cost of accompanying him on his chartered jet; Kennedy campaign is charging newsmen 225% of 1st class ticket for air and ground transportation, rather than 150% traditionally charged by candidates; Kennedy campaign aides, in explaining high cost, cite modifications made to Kennedy jet and fact that it is always on call; NY Times has asked Kennedy organization for explanation of its charges, while Newsweek is curbing its coverage of his activities and CBS News is investigating possibility of chartering smaller, less expensive jet to follow Kennedy's jet (M)
