Tim Shaw (born 9 June 1974) is a British radio host, TV presenter and engineer. He is currently hosting a selection of factual engineering and science TV series on the National Geographic TV channel in both the US and International territories. He previously hosted TV series in the UK for Channel 4, Channel 5, More4, Virgin1, Discovery and Current TV.

KISSINGER LINKED TO ORDER TO F.B.I. ENDING WIRETAPS; Lawsuit by Halperin

Highly placed sources on June 8 charge Kissinger's National Security Office was directly responsible for ordering FBI to end 17 so-called 'national security' wiretaps on officials and newsmen that had begun in '69; say that as late as Feb '71 specific termination orders were telephoned to FBI by Gen Alexander M Haig; dispute Kissinger's contention that wiretap program was initiated at May 9 '69 White House meeting with Pres Nixon and late FBI Dir J Edgar Hoover; say bur's records indicate Hoover dictated memorandum on May 9 describing telephone conversation with Kissinger who was with Pres at Key Biscayne; also cast doubt on Kissinger's assertion before Sen Foreign Relations Com that his 'role was limited to supplying names' of those to be wiretapped who had access to leaked material; Kissinger testified before com in Sept '73 that he and Gen Haig were in touch with FBI only when wiretaps produced a 'particularly egregious' report, and that he never 'explicitly' dealt with question of terminating wiretaps (L)
